CHALET CATS

Hi everyone welcome to 'our dream'. My name is Marie Parnell and I am married and have three Children. George 20, Maisy 16 and Bill who is 12. I am the proprietor of Wakefield's newest luxury boarding cattery . We have three of our own pampered pussies, the youngest being my son Bill's cat, an oriental white boy called 'Keith' after Mr Lemon.... Not forgetting our littles dogs 'Butch', a minature Jack Russell and 'Dolly-Dog', a Jack Russell x Pug.. ‘Chalet Cats' is built at Blacker Lane in Calder Grove, Wakefield . The real ‘gem' to this dream of ours coming true is that the house where we live and where Chalet Cats is going to be built is where I was actually born. My parents moved here in 1966 and my sisters and I had a rural and family orientated up bringing. In 2002, we bought the house to keep it in the family as it meant so much to us all. Our intention from day one was to open our own boarding cattery, but spent the best part of eighteen months plus on renovating and extending it to suit our needs. Not wanting to go ‘thread to needle' through it all, but our planning permission took all of nearly two years to get approved by Wakefield 's council.
